Sean is an Iraqi War Veteran who retired from the military after serving 23 years in the United States Army and Florida Army National Guard. His deployments include Central America, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. He has been awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal among others. He is also proud to be one of the few military members to be awarded the French Forces Commando Badge.
 
Sean joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars in 2006 and currently serves as Commander of VFW Post 4538 in Crawfordville, Florida.  He previously served as District 2 Commander and was awarded All-State and All-American Commander. He serves as the Department Community Service Chairperson, Disaster Preparedness Relief Chairperson and State Legislative Chairperson. His Previous positions include Commander's Special Project Chairperson and National Aide de Camp. 
 
Sean lives in Panacea, Florida with his wife Sherri who currently serves as the VFW Auxiliary Department of Florida Guard.
